Do you enjoy singing? We invite you to an audition!
Wa are currently recruiting beautiful voices across all vocal ranges.
The European Union Choir, with its mixed symphonic ensemble of 80 choristers, has been dedicated since its establishment in 1958 to performing secular and sacred repertoires from European composers spanning various musical eras (baroque, classical, romantic, and contemporary works).
As a chorister with the European Union Choir, you'll experience the unique diversity of musical and cultural backgrounds among its members.
Being part of the European Union Choir also means having the privilege to rehearse in the magnificent setting of the Chapel of the Royal Military Academy and perform in Europe's most renowned halls accompanied by prestigious orchestras under the baton of esteemed conductors.
* Working in European institutions or being a citizen of one of the EU member states is not a requirement.
If you're interested in this wonderful opportunity, get in touch with us to participate in a rehearsal. Following the rehearsal, you'll have the opportunity to schedule an audition at your convenience.
The audition consists of three stages:
Vocal exercises
Required piece (Ave Verum by W. A. Mozart)
Simple sight-reading (basic knowledge of solfège required)
You will be accompanied by a pianist.
