A Message from the Chairwoman

For twenty years I've had the pleasure and pride of being part of the European Union Choir, a Brussels-based symphonic chorus whose mission is to bring together passionate singers from Europe and beyond. 

The choir is much more than a vocal ensemble - it embodies, in its own way, the European ideal. It reflects the most precious of what Europe can offer: diversity, cooperation, cultural dialogie -- and the push towards shared excellence. Singing together in various languages, pieces from our collective heritage or from afar, truly brings to life this project of unity in diversity. 
Classical music, often regarded as a pillar of European culture, is vibrant, alive and human. It brings people together. It inspires. It reminds us that great works are only ever tangible because they are brought to life by voices, actions and joint dedication.
